GK song parody: Sunny Morning After

by Rognik, published on February 14, 2002

I woke up from a horrible nightmare,
Picked up the paper to read.
A had a cup of coffee.
The front page talked about murders,
Used voodoo. Who could do this deed?
I'll ask my old friend, Mosely.

He knew Crash had a lead, but he just wouldn't talk.
Saw him out in the park,
couldn't help it. I gawked.
Talked to him inside the church ‘bout it.
Got him to tell me some info
And then his breathing just quit.

(Chorus):
Oh, my God! He was wearing a snake tattoo!
Oh, my God! And his face was turning quite blue!
Oh, my God! Oh, my God! It’s the sunny morning after,
And tell me, just what should I do?

Got a coded book on Rada drums,
The beat came out to “meet at swamp.”
The path there was quite hazy.
And the doctor asked me some questions,
But I answered them right since I survived.
That meeting there was crazy.

I blacked out; I come to.
And it’s all such a blur.
My girlfriend, she was there,
And my assistant, too.
Exactly where am I now, baby?
Gracie, please give me a hand,
Cause this is insane!

(as the chorus)
Oh, my God! I was wearing a snake tattoo!
Oh, my God! And the ritual was voodoo!
Oh, my God! Oh, my God! It’s the sunny morning after,
And I'm not sure just what to do.

My Uncle Wolfgang took over. He led me to an African mound. (an African mound)
He said to tear out a dead heart,
But the one that we must use has to be his still beating one!

(Chorus X2)

Who am I? What am I? Where am I? How did I…?
