GK3 Walkthrough - Day 3, 7am-10am

Museum Entry Room
In previous days you surely had already noticed the postcards that are sold on the right, opposite the lost-and-found box. There are three interesting art postcards: they are the reproductions of two different Teniers's St. Anthony paintings and of Poussin's "Les Bergeres d'Arcadie". Note: if you can't find them, try to rotate the rack. Madeline mentioned them on tour, so get them all (01+01+01, 578/965) and go back to the hotel. Return in

Gabriel's Room
Notice the manuscript Gabriel got last night: it's on the low table next to the sofa. Take a look at it (02, 580/965), then get the keys of the motorcycle (02, 582/965) - you'll need them later, when you'll begin your little personal treasure hunt around the valley. And now, let's start working with

SIDney
First of all scan in the three postcards to add them to your database (01+01+01, 585/965). Let's analyse them: don't even bother with the Teniers1 file - there's nothing interesting in that painting - but begin rather the analysis of Teniers2. Follow SIDney's instructions (02, 587/965): well, there are some hints to LSR Aries and Taurus riddle, but you've already solved them; anyway there are also some very interesting bible verses. Now analyse Poussin's painting (02+02, 591/965). Very interesting, isn't it? Go back to the map: now you have to solve the Leo riddle. It says that there is a relationship between Poussin and Teniers, so place a point on Poussin's Tomb and another on... take a look at Teniers2... L'Ermitage! Start the analysis (05, 596/965): great, you have solved it. Have a break: it's time to use the Harley Davidson. You know where you want to go... to L'Ermitage.

Hotel Hall
You are not going immediately to L'Ermitage though: you have to get in Mosely's Room, because you need something he's got. Open the door with the key he gave you last night (select it in your inventory, then click on the door and use the "object" icon) (02, 598/965).

Mosely's Room
The mess is even worse than it was two days ago when Gabriel came here. Of course, the thing you need is under the pile of clothes in the middle of the room, but don't even try to touch them: Grace will simply refuse to do it. Search first the rest of the room: open the dresser, search the bed and open Mosely's suitcase. Nothing; anyway Grace has understood that she has to do it, so move the clothes (04, 602/965) and she'll find what she was looking for: Mosely's GPRS device. Now go finally to

L'Ermitage
It's clear that the place is the same painted in Teniers2. To be sure, compare the rock with the postcard (select it in your inventory, then click on the cave and use the "object" icon) (05, 607/965). Now do as Saint Paul in the painting does: point up the cave (click on it, then use the "point" icon) (02, 609/965). So he's pointing at Peek Cardou... Enter the cave: you'll find, stuck on the wall, an interesting note. Get it (02, 611/965) and exit from the cave. Who on the earth would stick there such a thing? Don't care about it for now and try rather to find the exact centre of the map circle. You had already written down the co-ordinates last night, so read them in your inventory, then use the GPRS device (Select it in your inventory, then click on Grace and use the "object" icon). Walk around until you get on the spot where the co-ordinates on the device are those you had written down (the exact place is next to the cave entrance) (02, 613/965). Grace will make a cross there. Try to dig a hole (02, 615/965).


Nothing. It doesn't matter: leave L'Ermitage and go to

L'Homme Mort
You'll find that a red-haired woman is trying to find the treasure, too: Madeline is digging in the hole Mosely was working in last night. Talk to her (avoiding to do her any harm!) (02, 617/965), then go back to the hotel and enter the

Hotel Dining Room
If you want to, you can tell Mosely about Madeline, but talk rather to Buchelli (02, 619/965). He isn't surprised of the murder at all! He surely knows something. Return to your work with

SIDney
Next riddle is Virgo. Search "Solomon" (01, 620/965), "Temple of Solomon" (01, 621/965) and "Temple of Solomon Floorplan" (02, 623/965), then search also "St. Vincent" (01, 624/965) and go back to the map. Do you remember the dark shape you've seen on Wilkes' map last night? What if the temple is really there? If you remember, it was a long rectangle-shaped area that went from Le Bec on the southern side to Château de Serres and Poussin's Tomb on the northern side. Put a point on each corner of the grid rectangle made by the two central columns - sixteen squares - and start the analysis. Well done, you have solved Virgo (05, 629/965)! Libra is about the "Seal of Solomon": search it (01, 630/965), then search also "soul", "duality" and "Hexagram" (01+01+01, 623/965). You have to insert a hexagram in the map, and it should have the size of the circle. Rotate it until it's in the correct position: this is the solution of Libra (05, 638/965). Grace will work a little longer, then Gabriel will wake up and the timeblock will end.
