Hotel Hall
It seems that somebody's missing: Jean and Roxanne are checking Wilkes' room. When they are inside, eavesdrop on their conversation (click on the door, then use the "eavesdrop" icon) (02, 640/965), then enter
Wilkes' Room
(02, 642/965) You'll talk with Jean, who cannot admit something is going wrong in his hotel, then you, he and Roxanne will come out from the room. Roxanne is surely more worried than Jean, so go to find her in the
Supply Closet
Talk to Roxanne about "Wilkes" (02, 644/965): she'll tell you why she's worrying about him and will let you have a look at his room. Anyway there's nothing interesting inside - the room is empty and all Wilkes' equipment is missing. You cannot do anything there, so go rather in
Mosely's Room
Talk to Mosely about "Grace" (02, 646/965). It's a quite hard topic: Mosely loves her and Gabriel doesn't want to admit he loves her, too. Leave the room and go back in your one. You need to work a little with
SIDney
Scan in Larry's prints you got from the manuscript to add them to your database
(01, 647/965), then link them to Larry's suspect file (01, 648/965). Now you have to leave the town: you need to have some words with the fingerprint owner, but first go to
Poussin's Tomb
You'll find Emilio sitting down and meditating. Talk to him (02, 650/965), then
go to Larry Chester's. Or should I better say Larry Sinclair's?
Larry's Study
Larry doesn't seem very happy to see you. Talk to him about "Montreaux", "Rennes-le-Château" and "Throne" (02+02+02, 656/965), then return back to the hotel. Go upstairs in the
Hotel Hall
Open the door of your room. (02, 658/965) You'll see Mosely going out with a big (too big!) pack of newspapers. He'll go into his room, where he'll be joined by Madeline. Guess what's going on... Go now to
L'Homme Mort
At the very end of the area you'll see some footprints. (If you can't find them, go to the information panel and walk straight on along the little valley, without turning. When you cannot go on more, look on the ground) take a look at them (07, 665/965). Gabriel will follow them and will arrive
Behind L'Homme Mort
You have just found John Wilkes' body!
Search him (02, 667/965). You'll get a letter he had under his pyjamas: it's the letter you've read yesterday in his room. This means that Wilkes really knew something... Behind one of the rocks you'll find also... Wilkes' knee prints and blood. Look at both (01+01, 669/965), then return in the
Hotel Hall
Do the same you did before: open the door of your room (02, 671/965). You'll see Madeline coming out from Mosely's Room with the same big pack of newspapers you've seen some time before in Mosely's hands. When she'll disappear in her room, enter your room, too.
Gabriel's Room
Talk to Grace about "bloodline", "grail", "prince James' men" and "throne" (02+02+02+02, 679/965). When you talking about these topics, you'll hear the arrival of a car: Prince James has come! You'll realise only now that the manuscript... has vanished. Do you know who has stolen it? Gabriel will go to look for the manuscript and will give Grace the keys of the motorcycle. When he exits from the room, the timeblock ends.
