GK3 Walkthrough - Day 2, 12pm-2pm

You are now Grace. The tour group arrives to Château de Serres, where Madeline has organised the lunch. I know you'd like to look around, but go first in the

Château de Serres Wine Tasting
I know... You hate Madeline, but for this time let her alive and go rather to talk to Arnaud: he'll tell you something about the castle (02, 344/965). Then return in the

Château de Serres Courtyard
In the wall on the right corner of the castle there is a passage that leads to another area of the courtyard: follow it. What's that noise? It seems the cry of a baby! You must absolutely get in the castle: climb on the roof of the lowest building (click on it, then use the "climb" icon) (02, 346/965), then climb the ivy (04, 350/965) to enter in the castle through the window above. You'll find yourself in

Chateau de Serres Attic
What a scary place! Walk around the wall that comes out from the right: on its other side you'll see, between other stuff, a trunk. Do you remember the two men with a trunk that got down from the train two nights ago? Could it be this? Open the trunk (02, 352/965). It seems that somebody has heard you: someone is coming to see what's going on here. Hide quickly into the big wardrobe (on the right when facing the window you entered through) (02, 354/965). Fortunately Montreaux - because he's the man that has come upstairs - has been called by Madeline (this time she saved you!) and he hasn't discovered you. Ouff! Now take a look at the wardrobe: it contains some robes with strange symbols on them. Write them down (02, 356/965), then open again the trunk and move the objects inside (click on them, then use the "move" icon) to uncover what was under them: a doll! (02, 358/965) Have you really been thinking it was a child? Go to the other side of the attic and follow the staircase that leads down. You'll enter in

Château de Serres Library
You'll surely notice immediately the portrait on the wall. It's Montreaux, but... there's something weird with him. Move the chair next to the desk to place it under the painting (02, 360/965), then climb onto it and take a look at the painting. You are surely wondering what's up with Montreaux' left eye (it's the right one when facing the painting): inspect it (click on it, then use the "inspect" icon) (02, 362/965). What? A Grail-man? The surprises haven't come to an end yet: open the drawer of the big desk. There is a book inside, so first take from it Montreaux's fingerprints (02, 364/965) then read the book (02, 366/965). The landlord seems to be a rather uncommon person... Now push the button on the left leg of the desk (02, 368/965): you'll see a red ray coming out from each of the statues on the shelves of the libraries. Rotate them until the light rays picture a five-pointed star in the air (rotate each statue once left or once right) (05, 373/965). This opens a secret passage in the floor. Follow it and you'll enter the Château de Serres Wine-Cellar. It's a pretty scary place (perhaps once it had been a catacomb!)... Follow the turnings of the cellar until you find a little staircase leading downwards to an unlocked door (on the right if you followed the right arm of the passageway, on the left otherwise). Go through it into

Château de Serres Wine Press Room
(02, 375/965) So this was the weepy noise! A wine press! Talk to the old woman that is working here. (05, 380/965) She'll begin to speak in French and Grace will get scared, so she'll run away: she'll return to the main courtyard, where she'll find Mosely, worried about her. What a guy! Now the tour goes on, and next destination is Le Fauteuil du Diable - Devil's Armchair. When the tour group will arrive, it will find... the bodies of Mallory and McDougall! Lady Howard will lose her senses and this is obviously the end of the timeblock. To be continued...
